Agiou Petrou kai Pavlou

June 29 is dedicated by the Church to the memory of the Chief Apostles Peter and Paul, who are considered the chief apostles and foundational figures of Christianity and the Church. In icons depicting them, the two apostles are shown together holding a small Byzantine church, symbolizing the Church, a testament of the special place they hold in Christian faith.

So do call any Petros or Pavlos or Pavlina you know today, and wish them a happy name day!
